Sprinkling the eggs with Parika (or some chopped chives) makes them look pretty, but I can tell you from experience that this usually isn't a big hit with the kids. I'll keep mine plain this year.
We get a large ham each year. If we're visiting with family and having dinner at their house, I usually still grab a ham and cook it the day before or the day after.
