This year is flying by. Tax season is in full swing and St. Patrick's day is this coming Sunday. Are you ready to wear green? My daughter is old enough that it's not quite as big of a deal as it has been in years past, but I'm sure we'll still be making an effort to wear something green "just in case". If you are looking for some frugal tips to help you do the same look no further than this post:
I usually make something fun and at least "Irish inspired" for dinner on St. Patrick's Day. Often it's the traditional corned beef and cabbage, but this year, I'm making a big pot of "Luck of the Irish" Kettle Soup with a side of sweet milk bread. I hope you give them a try as well. By the way, both are delicious any time of the year.
If you have little ones in the house, don't miss these simple and kid-friendly St. Patrick's day recipes.
The shamrock cake is always a big hit and who doesn't like a nice cup of Leprechaun Ale (Sherbet & Ginger Ale).
For more fun recipes, simple crafts you can do with the kids, and a bit of history about St. Patrick's Day to share with your family, grab a copy of this Kindle book. If you have a Kindle Unlimited Membership, you can read it free.
P.S.: The next Kindle cookbook full of frugal instant pot recipes is coming along nicely. I hope to be able to share the beautiful cover graphic my husband is making with you next week, along with some delicious and affordable chicken recipes. Stay tuned.
