Hi ,
It's been a busy week around here with plenty of after-school activities and appointments, including a visit to the dentist for me. I have to tell you, I was dreading it. In the end, while it wasn't exactly pleasant, it wasn't nearly as scary or bad as I thought it would be. Thankfully it's over and my teeth have a clean bill of health.
To be honest, it's been so busy I didn't get a chance to blog much. I did however share two updated recipes. One for some yummy cookies you can make from a cake mix, the other for one of my favorite homemade salad dressings.
Let's start with the cookies. This is a fun recipe for chocolate mint cookies you can make using a cake mix. Perfect for baking with the kids, or just because. These are also always a big hit at bake sales.
Have you tried making your own salad dressing? It's a lot easier than you think and the end result tastes amazing. If you're a fan of Caesar Salads and Caesar dressing in general, you don't want to miss this tried and true homemade version.
In other news, I'm busily working away on a new cookbook all about frugal Instant Pot meals. It's a lot of fun and I think you'll love the end result. It's coming together nicely and I hope to have it published by the middle of March.
Speaking of cookbooks... Did you grab your copy of Make and Take Meals yet? I've been getting rave reviews on the Hamburger Stroganoff recipe from the book. The rest of the dishes are just as good. Make them for your own family, or cook up a meal and take it to a family in need of some comfort food.
