Our Gardening and Tomato Growing Adventures

Hello ,

Good morning. How was your weekend. We have a two nice relaxing days off. Saturday was mostly spent running errands and catching up on housework, but yesterday we all headed outside on a cool Sunday afternoon and played in the dirt :)

We headed outside after lunch to work in the garden. The weather was perfect. Warm, but not too hot and the air was dry. Our tomato bed needed a lot of work. Weeds were threatening to take over and I'm sure our tomato seedlings appreciated the work we put into cleaning up that bed yesterday. We planted them about two weeks ago, which is when I started working on the the blog post I'm sharing with you today. It's a bit on the long side since I've been writing away on it on and off for the last two weeks, but if you've been thinking about growing your own tomatoes, I'm sure you'll appreciate it.

P.S.: My husband and I picked up this Ebook - How To Grow Juicy, Tasty Tomatoes". It's a treasure trove of information when it comes to tomato growing.

The sections on diagnosing and treating pests and diseases has been particularly helpful and I can't tell you how many plants this book has helped us save. I highly recommend it if you're ready to start growing garden tomatoes.
