Today is the last day of school before Christmas break around here which means I have a couple of hours to wrap up some secret Christmas knitting, so I'll keep this short. 

We've been having a hard time this year getting into the Christmas spirit. It's warm enough to wear t-shirts and the air conditioner is running again. Last night we planned on going to a Christmas Light display at a local park, but it ended up raining all evening. We might try again tonight. 

After feeling a bit blue about the weather not cooperating, we turned on some Christmas music and baked up some gingerbread cookies. There's just something about smelling these cookies that makes it feel like Christmas.
