My daughter's English teacher encouraged her students this week to do some random acts of kindness and then report back. The kids had such a great time with it and couldn't wait to talk about it. Hearing the stories shared in class encouraged each student to be kinder and go out of their way to help someone. My daughter shared some of the stories (and of course did plenty of her own RAKs (Random Acts of Kindness). 

It reminded me of an article I wrote a few years ago about how being kind is the one thing you don't want to be frugal with - especially around the holidays.  I thought I'd share that article with you today as part of our HBHW Advent Calendar.
