Did You Have A Nice Christmas?
Hello ,

We had a fun Christmas. We ended up driving up to stay with my in-laws Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We drove up Christmas Eve (it's about a 4 hour drive), and joined my husband's extended family (aunts, uncles and lots of cousins) at his grandmother's house for Christmas eve dinner. It's always a lot of fun. I was exhausted that night, but had a hard time sleeping. I ended up being the first one up around 6:30 am and started to make a pot of much needed coffee. That's when I thought we were in big trouble...

There was about one scoop of ground coffee left. I dug through the cabinets and looked around the pantry. No other coffee to be found and the stores closed for Christmas Day.

Thankfully my husband got up a little while later and we both looked around until we found more coffee. The pot was finished brewing before my in-laws and my daughter got up. I enjoyed my coffee and was fully awake and in a much better frame of mind when we started to open presents. All in all it was a very nice family Christmas. We came back on the 26th and I got a chance to try out the spinning wheel I got as my big Christmas present this year. It's a lot of fun. I'll share some pictures with you as soon as it stops raining. It's too dark and dreary to take decent photos.
