Hello ,
My plan for today was to simply share my favorite recipe for gingerbread icing with you. I thought it would go well with the recipe from yesterday.
Then I came across a blog post I had to share instead. Don't worry, the link to the recipe is below. But first, please take a moment to read this blog post. Not only did it bring tears to my
eyes, it also changed my perspective on how I look at Christmas and life in general. It's a good reminder of what's important and how to focus on the good stuff, no matter what.
As promised, here's the recipe. Baking cookies with my daughter is one of those moments I treasure each year. Go make some memories and celebrate the good people and things in your life. And don't feel bad about not having the perfect Christmas this year. It's ok to be sad about the loss of a loved one. It's ok to worry about losing your job, or that money is
tight. Life isn't perfect. If it was, we wouldn't be able to recognize the really good parts.
