HBHW Advent Calendar Day 4 - Making Memories

HBHW Advent Calendar Day 4
Hello ,

Good morning and Happy Friday!

It's been a busy week and it doesn't really look like things will slow down much for the weekend. In other words, it's a typical December week.

I had a wonderful time at my Spinning group Christmas party yesterday and received the most adorable felted gnome. It's so much fun to get unexpected gifts and they are even better when they're handmade.

Today, I want to talk to you about making memories. This is the perfect time of the year. Think back about your own childhood memories. Chances are that you're not so much remembering the different gifts  you've gotten each year, but instead, what sticks is all those lovely traditions like going out to cut the tree, putting up decorations and baking cookies with mom or grandma.

Much has changed in past years and we've moved from sharing family traditions to a much bigger focus on presents. We're rushing from event to event and trying to get the best deal on this year's hot new toy.

Let's step back a bit, take a breath and bring back some of those lovely Christmas traditions.
Day 4 - Creating Family Christmas Traditions
Are you doing anything fun and Christmas related this weekend?  We're heading out tomorrow to listen to a Christmas concert at a local church. I hope it will become a new family tradition for us.
