Bacon Ranch Dip

Perfect for Superbowl Sunday!
Hello ,

Do you watch Football? We usually follow along throughout the season and cheer on our Carolina Panthers. I'm not a huge football fan, but enjoy hanging out with my husband and knitting away during the games.

And then of course there's the superbowl. I actually enjoy watching it ... as much for the half-time show and commercials as the game itself.

On Sunday, I'll make up a few snacks and we'll settle in for a quiet afternoon and evening of TV watching. One of the things I'm making is this Bacon Ranch Dip I thought I'd share with you today. It's from my "Best Dip Recipes" Kindle Cookbook.

Bacon Ranch Dip

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • I pouch Ranch dressing
  • 3 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 16 oz. sour cream

Preheat oven to 400°.

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until well combined. Transfer to an 8x8 inch baking dish and bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly.

This is great with homemade bread, crackers or chips.

Tasty dips are a great way to please a crowd or to serve company. They also come in handy when you have a hungry family and dinner not quite ready yet.

Many of the dips in this book use ingredients commonly found in your refrigerator so if you have unexpected guest you can whip up something quick and easy.

Make them as a treat for your family, to entertain company or to take to a potluck. Dips and a few veggies or chips are always a welcome addition to the table.

I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as we do in our home.
