I remember the Christmas before our daughter turned 5 (her birthday is in January... just a few days away actually). We had a blast. We went all out with a big tree, Santa brought her a trampoline for the back yard of our new house, she got a bike and enough toys to fill up her new bedroom. 

I wish I had a video of her face when she walked into the living room on Christmas morning. It's one of my favorite memories... but it came at a price! 

A few weeks after Christmas, our credit card bill arrived and let's just say it wasn't pretty. It took a lot of penny pinching and creative thinking and to be honest more time than I liked to pay it off.
