Sad news and no newsletter this week

Published: Wed, 10/22/14

Hello ,

Wednesdays are usually a day I look forward to because I get to spend time with you but something happened a couple days ago with my sister that has my heart and mind still reeling a bit.

I hope that you can forgive me if I skip this week's usual newsletter.

My sister was 31 week's pregnant and had a still birth over the weekend. If you've been with me for a while you may remember that the same thing happened to my husband and I 7 years ago.

I'm taking some time this week to grieve and to be there for my family. Thoughts and prayers for my sister and her family are very much appreciated.

I did want to take minute to let you know that we've been working on the November issue of the Homemaker's Hutch magazine. Tracy is picking up a lot of slack and adding all sorts of great stuff to it today. If you haven't subscribed yet, go take a look. I think you're going to enjoy it.

You can still subscribe for $2.99 a month through the end of October. November 1st, the price goes up to $7.

I'm going to grab another cup of coffee and chat with my sister. I am very grateful that modern day technology allows me to be there for her, even though we are thousands of miles apart.

Family is the most imortant and precious part of our lives and it's ok to take some extra time when we need it to support them, love them and be there for them. Life is short and time passes quickly ... often more quickly than we expect.
