How was your Easter? We had a nice Family Get-Together with plenty of food and some delicious Carrot Cake. The kids enjoyed hunting outside for Easter Eggs and were fascinated by my yarn spinning. I took my little hand-spindle over there and had a lot of fun showing them how to spin, letting them touch the fiber etc. 

 

We all had a nice time and of course there are plenty of leftovers. We just got through having ham biscuits for breakfast and there's still plenty leftover. I think I'll start a ham and potato casserole for dinner and keep the bone and some small bits and pieces to cook up some pinto beans later in the week. I'll share some ideas and recipes on the HBHW Facebook page and in this week's newsletter.
