[HBHW News] Chutney, Fresh Air and Fall Activities

Published: Wed, 09/18/13

Hello ,

and welcome to another edition of the HBHW newsletter. Fall is definitely here to stay. The leaves are turning and it's nice and cold outside. I'm even digging out my hand-knit socks that have been in the very back of my closet all summer. Speaking of fall...my friend Christine - The Menu Mom has a great fall bundle of ebooks on sale for $10. Take a look and see if there are some recipes in there you may want to try.

As you know Christine is in the process of adopting a young boy from the Ukraine. It's unbelievable how expensive this is and every little ebook purchase helps them get Igor home.

In this week's featured article I share some fun autumn activities for the kids and the frugal tip is all about saving money by letting in lots of cool fresh air. I'm also sharing a great new recipe for a delicious chutney.

A HBHW reader is looking fora  recipe for a Cashew and Celery recipe. I hope you can help her out with some recipes and tips. It's all in this week's edition of the newsletter along with some fun Facebook talk, some inspiration and more.

Let's dive right in..

To save this edition to your computer, click on the link. The pdf file will open in your favorite browser. Click on "Page" and then "Save As" in your browser toolbar to save the newsletter. You can also find each copy in the HBHW newsletter archive here:

I had a lot of fun putting this together for you and I hope you enjoy it as well.

Warm Regards,
Susanne - The Hillbilly Housewife

P.S. Don't miss the Menu Planning Central Fall Bundle Sale. It includes quite a few recipe books for $10. The sale ends tomorrow and the Fall Bundle ebooks will go back into the vault.
