[HBHW] Fall Farmers Markets

Published: Mon, 10/01/12

Hello ,

It is officially fall or autumn, my favorite time of the year. Leaves are turning, it's starting to cool down and some of my favorite foods are in season including apples, potatoes, sweet potatoes and pumpkins. It's so much fun to cook and bake with all fall has to offer. And it is cool enough in my kitchen to turn on the oven to bake some pies and to simmer a nice pot of stew all day long.

This is also the time of the year when I get a lot more knitting done. Look for some updates on the HBHW blog about some pretty socks and shawls in the coming days (along with some fun little toys).  You can find the blog at:

Nothing better than having a yummy stew simmering while relaxing with a fun little knitting project. :)

Don't forget to check out the Exploring Fall Farmers' Market ebook to learn more about buying local and cooking delicious fall food with it.
