[HBHW News] Old German Recipe

Published: Wed, 08/01/12

Hello ,

We landed safe and sound on Friday Morning in Frankfurt and have been enjoying our visit with my family. The drive back to my old home-town was a little adventurous. It started out with a bus trip to take us from the plane to the airport since we ended up landing on one of the outer areas of the airport. Then we got lost in the car after discovering that the interstate we were planning on taking was closed. We ended up needing to cross the Rhein river with no bridge in sight and took a ferry instead. I told my husband we just needed to work in a train trip and we would have used every single mode of transportation in one day. We finally got here and are enjoying our visit quite a bit so far. I'll share more little stories and pictures in future editions, on Facebook and of course in the HBHW Club.

In this week's featured article, I'm sharing an old German recipe I found. If you enjoy reading recipes as much as I do, I'm sure you'll enjoy this. I had a lot of fun putting this together for you and I hope you enjoy it as well. Please take a moment to look through the "I'm Looking for " requests and help a reader out with a recipe if you can. Of course you are always welcome to also share a frugal recipe or tip.
