[HBHW News] Tiny Frugal Habits and Travel

Published: Wed, 07/25/12

Hello ,

Tomorrow my family and I fly to Germany to visit with my parents, my grandmother and my sister and her family. I'm excited and looking forward to seeing everyone ... especially my godson (my sister's little boy). I haven't seen them since September and I'm sure we'll all have a great time. I just wish the flight wasn't so long (or so expensive). Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

In this week's featured article, we're talking about a tiny habit that will save money if you do it routinely. Often, as we are rushing through our daily cooking and cleaning chores, we forget those little habits can add up to a lot - either in waste or in savings. This week's quote and story are about being thrifty now to reap the rewards later, and being a bit clever in some frugal homemaking skills. Please take a moment to read and enjoy.

Here's today's edition of the newsletter:

I had a lot of fun putting this together for you and I hope you enjoy it as well. Please take a moment to look through the "I'm Looking for " requests and help a reader out with a recipe if you can. Of course you are always welcome to also share a frugal recipe or tip.

Warm Regards,
Susanne - The Hillbilly Housewife

P.S. Don't forget about the Living on a Dime Print Book sale I emailed you about yesterday. It's only good for a few more days. http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/print
