[HBHW] A New Book and Bringing Back The Blog

Published: Thu, 09/13/12

Hello ,

Creating my first Kindle book on making homemade jellies and jams was so much fun that I sat down and created a second book. With tomato season in full swing, and many of us drowning in these delicious fruits from our gardens or the farmers market, tomato recipes have been on my mind (and in my kitchen) a lot.

I put together some of my best recipes along with some tips on peeling, seeding, chopping and freezing tomatoes in "The Tomato Cookbook - Tomato Recipes from Soup To Grilled".

For the next week, you can download it to your kindle, smartphone or computer for $0.99. Please take a moment to download and write a short review on Amazon. Your feedback is much appreciated and will help me get even better at this cookbook stuff.

Feel free to share the link on Facebook, Twitter and the likes. I appreciate it.

Let's talk about the much neglected Hillbilly Housewife Blog at http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/blog/ . It's been very quiet over there for the past year. To be honest, I just needed a bit of a break, but I'm ready to jump back in with some fun new ideas. It's not going to be what it was a few years ago... instead I'm planning on sharing what's going on on the main site, what I'm reading and my other hobby, knitting.

I'm sure I'll be adding other regular features down the road as well. For now, take a look and check back in later today. I'm working on a cute knitted dish cloth I'm going to share this afternoon.

Warmly,
Susanne - The Hillbilly Housewife
