Happy 4th of July and welcome to another edition of the Hillbilly Housewife Newsletter. We are getting ready for a big day around here. My husband's grandmother is turning 90 today and of course we'll also be celebrating Independence Day with a cookout and watching some fireworks. The heat wave around here continues, but I'm hopeful that it will cool down a bit by the time the sun sets.
