[HBHW News] Father's Day Fun and An Invitation
Published: Wed, 06/13/12
Hello ,
Welcome to another edition of the Hillbilly Housewife Newsletter. We are official on "Summer Time". Instead of waking up around 6:30, I managed to sleep in until 9:30, which explains why you're getting today's edition a little later than you're used to. The steady summer rain we've been having for the past few days kept me sound asleep this morning. I usually enjoy a nice rainy day spent knitting, reading and playing board games, but after a week of this I'm ready for some Carolina Blue Skies and some time to do things outside. I think we're all having a bit of cabin fever. Rain or shine we're heading out today ... at least another trip to the library to stock up on some new books.

Speaking of which... we've been having some fun conversations about libraries and summer reading programs in the HBHW Club (along with plenty of other frugal talk). I'd like to invite you to join us at www.HillbillyHousewifeClub.com
Back to the newsletter... This week's featured articles are about the origin
of Father's Day and all kinds of ideas for
simple gifts for kids to give their Dad. The recipe section is filled with yummy dishes that'll please Dad.
This week's quote and story are also Dad inspired. You may already be quite familiar with the poem, but in case you have forgotten about it, like I did, I thought it would be nice to read it again. Please take a moment to read and enjoy.
Here's today's edition of the newsletter:
Warm Regards,
