[HBHW News] Cleaning Without Chaos

Published: Wed, 01/25/12

Hello ,

We had a busy day yesterday. A full day of school and homework and then a little birthday party with family for my 9-year-old. After cleaning the house, making a cake, the decorations, some pizza and dips, I was exhausted. I have to admit, I didn't get much done in the kitchen before crawling into bed. I'm about to head in there and start taking control of the chaos.

Speaking of Chaos, I posted a short report for you about cleaning your home. You may remember many of the articles in the report as blog posts from the old HBHW Blog. You'll find a link to download the report in the newsletter.

This week we're featuring an article written by Tracy Roberts in which she gives us a peek into how a busy weekend can get out of hand so fast!  If you have kids (hungry kids!) you'll get a kick out of this story.  We all try to keep up the best we can, and we do a pretty good job most of the time, don't we.  And then, there's that one weekend... Be sure to scroll down and read this fun article.

This week's quote and story are about noticing all the wonderful things right in our path every day, and embracing the unknown future and seeing it as a gift. Please take a moment to read and enjoy.

As always there are a lot of yummy recipes, a great article and some helpful frugal tips.

Here's today's edition of the newsletter:

I had a lot of fun putting this together for you and I hope you enjoy it as well. Please take a moment to look through the "I'm Looking for " requests and help a reader out with a recipe if you can. Of course you are always welcome to also share a frugal recipe or tip.

Warm Regards,
Susanne - The Hillbilly Housewife

P.S. I highly recommend the 30 Days to An Organized Home ebook. Not only is it one of the best deals I've seen online in a while, it's incredibly helpful.
