[HBHW] Have You Heard Of Notebooking?

Published: Thu, 04/26/12

Hello ,

We have some big thunderstorms rolling in, so I have to make this quick...

I just go through adding a couple of articles by a new friend of mine - Cindy Rushton. She's a homeschooling mom with some great advice on notebooking. As you know, we don't homeschool our daughter (she thrives on the social interaction in school), but that doesn't mean we're not taking a very active part in her education. One of the things we recently started doing is notebooking. Since she is a little scientist in the making, we started with a nature notebook.

Here are the tips and ideas from Cindy that first got us started.

And here are some tips on making history fun... one of the tips is of course notebooking, but I love the rest of her ideas as well. We'll be implementing a lot of these over the summer. I'm particularly looking forward to the doll clothes idea. I have a feeling I'll be knitting some cute doll clothes in the near future.

Got you curious enough to consider making your own notebook with your kids? Here's Cindy again with some "getting started" advice.

Look for more articles and tips from Cindy in the future.
