Happy New Year. I'm excited about what 2012 has in store for us. 

 

We rang in the New Year pretty quietly, doing some work around the house, putting away Christmas decorations and then flipping back and forth between a few TV channels to watch New Year's Eve shows. 

 

This morning I'm curled up on the couch with a cup of coffee enjoying a few quiet moments while everyone else is still asleep. I think it's about time to come up with a few New Year's resolutions, both for myself and for the Hillbilly Housewife website. 

 

My own goals are similar to what the have been the past few years. Lose weight, adopt some healthier habits including getting more exercise and eating better. I'd also like to see us get rid of the last of our debt (our mortgage) this year. How about you? Any good resolutions for 2012?
