[HBHW News] Thanksgiving Thank You and Reducing Holiday Stress

Published: Wed, 11/16/11

Hello ,

... and welcome to another edition of the Hillbilly Housewife Newsletter. I'm busy starting to prepare for Thanksgiving and am trying to get most of my shopping out of the way this week. I stopped by Walmart last night to pick up rubbed sage for the dressing. A few years ago, I didn't realize until Tuesday of Thanksgiving week that I was about out and ended up running to 4 different stores before I found any. Take a minute to check your spice rack and pantry now for special holiday ingredients you may need to cook a Thanksgiving feast.

In this week's featured article I share some strategies for planning for the holidays, starting right now. Be sure to scroll down and read this interesting article.

This week's quote is about always finding something to be thankful for.  Then, the story this week is something totally lighthearted and fun.  Many of us are searching for the perfect turkey and stuffing recipe for our Thanksgiving meal.  This little poem just makes me chuckle.  Please take a moment to read and enjoy.

Here's today's edition of the newsletter:

I had a lot of fun putting this together for you and I hope you enjoy it as well. Please take a moment to look through the "I'm Looking for " requests and help a reader out with a recipe if you can. Of course you are always welcome to also share a frugal recipe or tip.

Warm Regards,
Susanne - The Hillbilly Housewife

P.S. Don't forget about the Hillbilly Housewife Thanksgiving sale I emailed you about yesterday. It's only good for a few more days.
