Hello ,

 

I'm back home safe and sound from Germany. I'm very glad I went and got a chance to spend some time with my grandmother. We talked a lot about family, my grandfather etc. We also did some cooking together and I watched her make her famous homemade jelly. 

 

Which brings us to this week's newsletter. It's all about autumn, harvest time and of course apples which can be found in abundance right now. With plenty of fruits and vegetables ripe for the taking right now, it's the perfect time to start preserving all that goodness. This week and over the coming weeks will talk quite a bit about canning. We start this week with some canning articles and an inspirational poem.
