[HBHW News] Crockpot Cooking For Cooler Weather

Published: Wed, 09/21/11

Hello ,

Fall is my favorite season, with it's sunny days that are cool enough to enjoy outside, colorful leaves. I even like the rainy days like today. They are perfect for curling up on the couch with a good book, a comfy blanket and a nice cup of homemade soup or stew.

On day's like today, I always have something good brewing in the crockpot. As soon as I'm done sending out today's newsletter (which I do early in the morning), I'll get to work on some vegetable soup. The crockpot is already sitting on the counter, just waiting to be filled.

This week's quote and inspirational story reflect my love for fall and the article has some quick and easy crockpot recipes for you to try.

Here's today's edition of the newsletter:

I had a lot of fun putting this together for you and I hope you enjoy it as well. Please take a moment to look through the "I'm Looking for " requests and help a reader out with a recipe if you can. Of course you are always welcome to also share a frugal recipe or tip.

Warm Regards,
Susanne - The Hillbilly Housewife
