[HBHW News] Stone Soup and Meals Around The Family Table

Published: Wed, 09/07/11

Hello ,

I'm sitting here next to an open window with cool air flowing all through the house. This is the first morning that feels a bit like fall and I'm looking forward to cooler temperatures, colorful leaves and of course all the delicious fall produce that's getting ready to come into season.

In today's newsletter edition I am featuring an article about why sitting down together at the table as a family is so important.  Please be sure to click on and read this article and get a glimpse inside a 1950s home.

This week's quote and story are both about food, and more importantly about the pleasure we have connecting with each other over a meal. Please take a moment to read and enjoy - and be inspired.

Here's today's edition of the newsletter:

I had a lot of fun putting this together for you and I hope you enjoy it as well. Please take a moment to look through the "I'm Looking for " requests and help a reader out with a recipe if you can. Of course you are always welcome to also share a frugal recipe or tip.

Warm Regards,
Susanne - The Hillbilly Housewife
