[HBHW News] Spring Cleaning and A Homemaker's Story

Published: Thu, 05/12/11

Hello ,

Let me start by apologizing that the newsletter is a day late. I had it all ready to go Tuesday night and was just planning on getting up yesterday and send it out to you. Sadly we had some bad thunderstorms with strong wind in the night that knocked out power for most of the night, and knocked a tree into our home.We are fine and damage to the house doesn't look so bad.

Needless to say that the Internet was down in our area yesterday as well which is why you're getting this week's edition today. Please pay special attention to the editorial (yes, I wrote it before we got hit with the storm). My friend Patti had a great idea for helping those affected by the Tornadoes that hit the south a few weeks ago.

Here's today's edition of the newsletter:

I had a lot of fun putting this together for you and I hope you enjoy it as well. Please take a moment to look through the "I'm Looking for " requests and help a reader out with a recipe if you can. Of course you are always welcome to also share a frugal recipe or tip.

Warm Regards,
Susanne - The Hillbilly Housewife

P.S.I reworked  the Spring Cleaning guide and included quite a few bonuses (you'll also find some freebies in the newsletter). Take a look
