[HBHW News] Powdered Milk and Summertime Cooking

Published: Wed, 06/01/11

Hello ,

We're down to the last few days of school and I'm busy adjusting to our "summer time" schedule. It includes lots of trips to the library and the public pool. I also adjust my meal plan including lots of light and cool dishes and having things ready ahead of time. It keeps us from being tempted to grab fast food when we're tired and hungry after a few hours in the park or at the public pool.

Take a look at this week's article for some tips on using powdered milk and a delicious make ahead recipe kids of all ages will love.

This week's quote and story are about summertime, the ease of summer and the delights of summer.  I hope you'll scroll down and take a minute to read and enjoy the thoughts of summer.
