[HBHW News] All About Making Bread

Published: Wed, 01/26/11

Hello ,

Welcome to another edition of the Hillbilly Housewife Newsletter. This week it's all about making bread. Over the busy holiday season I have gotten a bit out of the habit of making bread and my beloved bread machine got tucked in the back of a kitchen cabinet. It was high time to get it back on the counter to remind me how easy it is to make homemade bread for my family. Not only does it taste better, it's also a lot better for us.

Before we move into today's newsletter, a quick reminder that you can still get a copy of Making and Keeping Your New Year's Resolutions throughout the Year for $5.00. The low introductory offer will expire tomorrow. Order your copy today at

Our featured article this week is about how to get started making bread in your bread machine.  Don't worry if you've long since lost the manual - we've got resources to help you make it through.  If you can, please take a moment to scroll down and click on the link to read our featured article.

This week's quote and story are about kindness. Sometimes we have to be reminded that kindness, especially shown to the 'least' of us, has its own rewards. I hope you'll take a moment or two out of your busy day to read and reflect on today's quote and story.

Here's today's edition of the newsletter:

I had a lot of fun putting this together for you and I hope you enjoy it as well. Please take a moment to look through the "I'm Looking for " requests and help a reader out with a recipe if you can. Of course you are always welcome to also share a frugal recipe or tip.

Warm Regards,
Susanne - The Hillbilly Housewife
