[HBHW News] The Meaning Of Frugal Living and Homemade Hummus

Published: Wed, 01/12/11

Hello ,

Welcome to the next edition of the HBHW newsletter. We've been snowed in here in South Carolina - something that doesn't usually happen but snow covered with freezing rain made for some treacherous road conditions. Schools are closed and our pantry and fridge have been well stocked so there's no need to venture out until the roads are safe. I have to admit, I'm starting to get a bit of cabin fever though.

Our featured article this week is about the meaning of frugal living.  I talk to a lot of people who are trying to live a more frugal lifestyle, and each person I talk to has a different take on what frugal means.  What does frugal living mean to you?  I hope you'll take a moment to scroll down and click on the link to read our featured article.

This week's quote and story are about the excitement of looking forward, and learning from our past. I hope you'll take a moment or two out of your busy day to read and reflect on today's quote and story.

Here's today's edition of the newsletter:

I had a lot of fun putting this together for you and I hope you enjoy it as well. Please take a moment to look through the "I'm Looking for " requests and help a reader out with a recipe if you can. Of course you are always welcome to also share a frugal recipe or tip.

Warm Regards,
