Hello again and welcome to another edition of the Hillbilly Housewife Newsletter. We went camping for 3 days over the Labor Day weekend (here in the US). It was a lot of fun and I'm slowly getting through the mountain of laundry we accumulated in just a few days. The important part though is that we had a wonderful time just enjoying each others' company (and the beach of course). 
 
The article I'm sharing with you this week is about diet-friendly crockpot cooking. Yes, you can make some amazing healthy meals right in your slowcooker.  The inspirational quote and story I've chosen this week are about seizing the moment and I also have a savory slow-roasted chicken recipe for you from the HBHW Club.
